SICVD training positions January 2027 are open. The Medical Education Department of the Sindh Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases is inviting applications through its online portal for FCPS postgraduate trainee, post fellow, clinical fellow and contractual TRMO positions in cardiology, cardiac surgery, paediatric cardiology and anaesthesia.
Training starts in January 2027, selection is purely on merit, and doctors from all over Pakistan can apply. The portal closes on Monday, 30 November 2026, and each candidate can apply for only one position.
Positions and eligibility
All training positions require MBBS, a completed house job and valid PMDC registration, plus the specialty requirement listed for each post. Two requirements below are reproduced exactly as printed but look unusual (Electrophysiology Post Fellow and Paediatric Cardiology Post Fellow); confirm them on the SICVD portal before applying.

Selected candidates start in January 2027.
How to apply
Log in to the SICVD postgraduate medical education portal, choose your position and follow the steps shown there. Applications sent by courier, post or by hand will not be accepted, and the portal will stop accepting applications after 30 November 2026.
Government employees must apply through proper channel and bring an NOC to the interview.

Can I apply for more than one position?
No. SICVD allows each candidate to apply for only one position at a time.
Is IMM compulsory for the FCPS trainee posts?
IMM training must be completed. Candidates who have passed IMM are preferred, but passing is not stated as compulsory.
