Applications on prescribed forms are officially invited from interested In-Service and Private candidates for admission to Residency Training programs for the July 2026 session at Khairpur Medical College Teaching Hospital.
Programs Offered (FCPS-II Training Programme)
- General Medicine: Available as a 2-years program leading to a sub-specialty or a standard 4-years program.
- General Surgery: Available as a 2-years program leading to a sub-specialty or a standard 4-years program.

Eligibility Criteria
- MBBS degree from a recognized university listed in schedule I & II of the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PMDC) Act.
- Valid Registration certificate from PMDC as a medical practitioner.
- Completion of a one-year House Job in a recognized teaching institute.
- FCPS-I passing certificate issued by the College of Physicians & Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP).
- Candidates must hold a domicile of the Sindh province.
- Eligibility for Neuro Surgery & Orthopaedics aligns strictly with CPSP criteria.
Fee Structure
- Standard Entry Test Fee: Rs. 8000/-
- Entry Test Fee with Late Submission: Rs. 10000/-
- Note: All fees are strictly non-refundable.
Application Procedure & General Instructions
- Download the application form and the associated fee challan directly from the official website: http://www.khprkmc.edu.pk.
- Submit the completely filled application form, the paid challan, and two attested photocopy sets of all required documents.
- Document submissions must be made to the office of the Chairman Post Graduate Section, Medical Unit-I, Khairpur Medical College Teaching Hospital, Khairpur.
- Candidates currently employed in government services, semi-government services, or other universities must route their applications through the proper administrative channels (sending an advance copy of relevant documents is permitted).
- The exact venue and time of the entry test will be explicitly announced on the issued admit cards.
- Selection will be conducted strictly on the basis of merit against the available number of seats.
- No TA/DA will be disbursed to candidates appearing for the entry test.
- The decision formulated by the postgraduate committee shall be considered final.
- The postgraduate section reserves the right to modify the course schedule due to unavoidable circumstances or cancel any admission entirely.
