Job Summary
ZMC is seeking dedicated and competent Medical Officers to provide quality medical care and ensure effective clinical management of patients across Wards, Emergency, ICU and Paediatrics. The selected candidates will be responsible for patient assessment, timely treatment, clinical monitoring and coordination with consultants and nursing teams across assigned shifts.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements
📋 Key Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose and manage patients in Wards, Emergency, ICU and Paediatrics.
- Provide timely medical care and emergency interventions as required.
- Monitor patients’ clinical condition and maintain accurate medical records.
- Coordinate with consultants, nursing staff and other healthcare professionals.
- Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, infection prevention and patient safety standards.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and escalate critical cases appropriately.
- Perform other clinical duties assigned by management.
✅ Requirements
- Qualification: MBBS or relevant qualification.
- Experience: Minimum 2–4 years of relevant experience in a hospital or healthcare setting. Experience in Wards, Emergency, ICU or Paediatrics will be preferred.
- Skills: Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills; effective communication and teamwork; ability to work efficiently across assigned shifts and under pressure.
