Salim Habib University (SHU), Karachi has announced a faculty vacancy in its Faculty of Science for the BS Dermatology Program. The university invites applications from suitably qualified dermatology professionals for the position of Assistant Professor or Lecturer. Qualification
- MS / MPhil / M.Sc / MBBS / Ph.D or equivalent qualification in Dermatology, Aesthetic Medicine or Clinical Dermatology from an HEC-recognized university or institution.
- Candidates having relevant professional qualifications and academic experience in Dermatology will be preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 2–3 years of relevant teaching or clinical experience in Dermatology or a related field.
- Candidates with experience in teaching courses related to Dermatology, Skin Sciences, Aesthetic Procedures or Clinical Practice will be preferred.
Additional Requirements
- Strong knowledge of dermatological concepts, clinical practices and current developments in the field.
- Good communication, teaching and interpersonal skills.
- Candidates must fulfil the applicable HEC / Professional Council requirements for appointment in the BS Dermatology program.
