The Directorate of Nursing Sindh, Karachi has officially announced admissions for the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN Generic) 4-Year Degree Program for the session 2026–2029. Applications are invited from both male and female candidates for Morning and Evening shifts across public sector nursing colleges under the Health Department, Government of Sindh.
✅ Eligibility Criteria
Education / Qualification
- Intermediate / F.Sc. (Pre-Medical) with minimum 50% marks — Physics, Chemistry & Biology compulsory — from any Board of Higher Secondary Education in Sindh or Federal Board (Sindh domicile only).
- Matric Science with minimum 55% marks — Physics, Chemistry & Biology compulsory — from any Board of Secondary Education in Sindh or Federal Board (Sindh domicile only).
Other Requirements
- Domicile / PRC from any district of Sindh Province.
- FRC (CNIC with Sindh Province code digit 4) by NADRA; Father’s Domicile must be registered in Sindh.
- Age: 18–30 years (calculated up to the last date of application submission).

📝 NCAT Test Pattern & Merit Formula
- Paper-based, multiple choice exam conducted in English.
- 100 MCQs from Intermediate-level subjects: English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
- Merit Formula: Intermediate marks = 30% weightage (A) + NCAT Aptitude Test = 70% weightage (B). Final Merit = A + B.
📋 How to Apply
- Submit your online application at www.sts.org.pk.
- Download the STS test fee challan for Rs. 685/- from the STS portal after completing the application.
- Also deposit the Directorate of Nursing processing fee of Rs. 550/- via the same challan. Total payable amount: Rs. 1,235/- at any designated online bank branch.
- Send the duly filled application form along with the original paid bank deposit slip and attested documents by post or courier to Sindh Testing Services Pakistan (STS) before the closing date.

- CNIC with 4-digit Sindh Province code (front & back)
- Domicile and PRC Certificate (any district of Sindh)

Providing false or misleading information will result in rejection and cancellation of admission. Admission is strictly on merit based on STS test results and the merit formula.
