
The Trauma & Emergency Response Center (T&ERC) at Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto (SMBB) Institute of Trauma Larkana is officially accepting applications for its Postgraduate Training Programs for the 2026-B session. Interested medical professionals are encouraged to review the program details, eligibility criteria, and application guidelines outlined below.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must possess a Sindh Domicile to be eligible for these programs.
- A valid PMDC registration is mandatory.
- Candidates must hold an MBBS / BDS degree applicable as per the specialty requirement.
- A Certificate of CPSP Registration is required if the candidate is already registered.
Important Guidelines for Applicants
- NOC Requirements: Candidates already registered in another institute must produce a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from CPSP at the time of the interview. Government employees must provide an NOC from the Health Department during the interview. Upon selection, government officers must submit an NOC, deputation, or posting from the Government of Sindh within one week.
- Pending Results: Candidates awaiting FCPS-I results may apply at their own risk but must produce their success result before appearing for the interview.
- Selection Process: After the initial shortlisting, applicants will be called for document verification and submission. The final selection will be strictly interview-based.
Application Process & Deadlines
- Application Method: All applicants must apply online through the SMBB Institute of Trauma Karachi portal at https://pgme.smbbit.gos.pk.
- Application Deadline: The online portal will accept applications until 11:59 p.m. on Monday, 01st June, 2026.
- Application Fee: A non-refundable processing fee of PKR 8,000/- must be submitted via bank challan to any branch of the Sindh Bank Limited.
- Fee Submission Deadline: The last day for bank challan submission is also Monday, 01st June, 2026.
