⏰ Last Date: Monday, 23 November 2026Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Medical University (SMBBMU), Larkana has invited applications on prescribed forms from Sindh domicile candidates for admission to its training and residency programs for the academic session January 2027. The notice covers the full range of postgraduate pathways – MS Surgery & Allied, MD Medicine & Allied, PhD, M.Phil, MSPH, MS Nursing, two-year clinical diplomas, one-year Community Medicine diplomas, and CPSP FCPS-II training in Medicine & Allied, Surgery & Allied and a 2nd Fellowship in Paediatric Ophthalmology. Applications open on 9 November 2026, close on 23 November 2026, with entry tests on 9 December (university courses) and 10 December 2026 (FCPS-II), and the session commencing on 11 January 2027.

Entry test and all other fees are non-refundable.
Schedule
No separate call letters will be issued for the entry test, interviews or selection – candidates must note these dates.
How to Apply
- Download the application form from http://www.smbbmu.edu.pk.
- Deposit the fees in the account titled The Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Medical University Larkana-VC, Account No. PK84ALFH0723001010579758 (Bank Alfalah).
- Submit the paid receipt, completed application form and two attested photocopy sets of all documents (with a photocopy of the filled form), arranged according to the checklist, at the Directorate of Postgraduate Studies, SMBBMU @ CMC Larkana.
- Submit by 23 November 2026; late or incomplete forms will not be entertained.
- Confirm your admit card, time and venue from the Postgraduate Directorate two days before the entry test.
General Instructions & Important Notes
- Only candidates who qualify the written entry test will be called for interview; selection is on merit against available seats.
- The decision of the Postgraduate Committee in interview is final. No TA/DA for the test or interview.
- Candidates in Government / Semi-Government / Autonomous Bodies or other universities must apply through proper channel (advance copy may be sent with documents). Quota for in-service candidates will be observed.
- The Selection Committee may cancel any admission; candidates may appeal to the Competent Authority within 02 weeks.
- The Directorate reserves the right to modify the schedule or courses, or to cancel / re-conduct the test.
- Hostel accommodation will not be provided. Legal action will be taken for any forgery.
- Training for Dip-Card will be at SICVD Larkana / Sukkur.
- Courses marked with an asterisk (*) are under process of recognition.
