Overview 

The Office of the Medical Superintendent, Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (KMC), has announced vacant positions for Paid House Officers. This is a primary opportunity for recent medical graduates seeking to complete their house job training at a major public sector tertiary care hospital in Karachi.

Eligibility Criteria To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Qualification: Possess an MBBS degree.
  • Institution: Must be a graduate of Karachi Medical & Dental College (KM&DC).
  • Residency: Must be a bona fide resident of Karachi.

Remuneration Selected candidates will be provided a monthly stipend of Rs. 45,000/- (Forty-five thousand rupees only) for the duration of the house job.

  • Interview Date & Time: April 18, 2026, at 10:00 AM strictly.

Required Documents checklist Applicants must prepare a complete application package. Submissions must be enclosed in one (01) plastic cover file and must contain three (03) attested copies of each of the following documents:

  1. MBBS / BDS Degree or Provisional Certificate
  2. MBBS / BDS Final Year Marks Sheet
  3. Valid PMDC Registration
  4. Domicile Certificate
  5. Matriculation Certificate
  6. Valid CNIC (Computerized National Identity Card)
  7. Three (3) recent passport-size photographs

Submission and Interview Venue Completed application files must reach the specified office before the deadline. Interviews will also be conducted at the same location: Office of the Medical Superintendent Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, KMC, Karachi.

General Guidelines & Notes

  • Candidates appearing for the interview will not be entitled to any TA/DA.
  • Ensure all copies are clearly attested and the plastic file is organized systematically to facilitate the screening process. Late or incomplete applications will likely not be entertained.
