Key Responsibilities
As a Registrar, you will play a pivotal role in the daily management of the Orthopaedics department. Your duties will include:
- Clinical Leadership: Provide high-quality clinical care to orthopaedic patients and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team.
- Operational Management: Consult with Senior Faculty and Consultants to organize and monitor daily clinical operations.
- Ward Rounds: Conduct regular clinical rounds with Medical Officers (MOs), Residents, and Nursing staff to assess patient progress and implement management plans.
- Surgical Collaboration: Work with the OT team to ensure safe and effective pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care.
- Patient Management: Initiate diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in consultation with Senior Registrars and Consultants.
- Documentation: Ensure accurate documentation of surgical forms, fitness clearances, and clinical reports as per hospital protocols.
Eligibility Criteria
To apply for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Qualification: FCPS Orthopaedics with 4 years of completed residency in Orthopaedics.
- Licensing: Valid PMDC Registration.
- Experience: 1–2 years of relevant post-residency clinical experience is preferred.
- Skills: Excellent communication and counseling skills are mandatory.
