Vacant Positions & Eligibility Criteria

1. Associate Professor: Onco-Gynae

• Basic Qualification: MBBS or equivalent recognized by PM&DC.
• Specialist Qualification: PM&DC Level III qualification (F.C.P.S / M.S / M.D) or equivalent in the relevant specialty.
• Experience:
  • Five (5) years of teaching experience as an Assistant Professor in the relevant subject.
  • Must have relevant qualification/experience in managing onco-gynecology patients.
• Research: A total of nine (09) research publications in the relevant subject, of which seven (07) must be as an Assistant Professor.

2. Assistant Professor

Specialties: I. Vascular Surgery II. Vitreoretinal Surgery III. Orbit and Oculoplastic Surgery IV. Cardiac Anesthesia V. Neurosurgery VI. Emergency Medicine (A&E)

Eligibility Options:

• 1st Preference:
  • MBBS + PM&DC Level III qualification (F.C.P.S/M.S/M.D) in the specific specialty.
  • Research: Two (2) publications in the relevant specialty.
  • Experience: Two (2) years of experience in the relevant specialty from a recognized institute after Level III qualification.
• 2nd Preference (“OR”):
  • PM&DC Level III qualification in a General Specialty (e.g., General Surgery, General Ophthalmology) PLUS four (4) years of specialized training in the specific sub-specialty where a Level III qualification is not offered.
  • OR: Qualifications like CCST, UK followed by a structured training program (3-5 years).
  • Research: Two (2) publications in the relevant specialty.

3. Assistant Professor: ICU / Pulmonology

Eligibility Options:

• 1st Preference:
  • MBBS + PM&DC Level III qualification specifically in ICU (F.C.P.S/M.S/M.D).
  • Research: Two (2) research publications in the relevant subject.
  • Experience: Two (2) years of experience in the relevant subject from a recognized institute after Level III qualification.
• 2nd Preference (“OR”):
  • MBBS + PM&DC Level III qualification in Pulmonology specialty.
  • Research: Two (2) research publications in the relevant subject.
  • Experience: Two (2) years of experience in the relevant subject after Level III qualification.

4. Chairman

Departments: I. Medicine & Allied II. Surgical & Allied

• Qualification: MBBS + PM&DC Level III qualification in the respective specialty (F.C.P.S/ M.S/ M.D).
• Criteria: Candidate must meet PM&DC & MTI criteria for faculty selection.
• Note: The selected candidate will receive a faculty position at the appropriate level (Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor).
