Khyber Medical College (KMC) is inviting applications for various medical, administrative, technical, and support staff positions. The roles range from high-level department chairpersons to skilled tradespeople and helpers.

1. Medical & Academic Positions

• Sr. No. 1: Chairperson, Accident & Emergency (03 years Contract)
  • Qualification: MBBS with a postgraduate qualification in Emergency Medicine (e.g., FCPS, FRCEM, FACEM, DABEM) or primary clinical specialty (Medicine, Surgery, Anesthesia) with Level II qualification in Emergency Medicine (e.g., MRCEM).
  • Experience: 2–3 years of experience in an A&E department post-graduation, depending on the specific qualification held. ACLS and ATLS certifications are preferred.
• Sr. No. 2: Chairperson Medicine (03 years Contract)
  • Requirement: Must currently hold a valid position in the relevant department/specialty at the level of Assistant Professor or higher.
  • Selection: Based on teaching experience, research publications, leadership qualities, and management skills.
  • Note: Institutional Based Practice (IBP) is mandatory for this role.
• Sr. No. 3: Assistant Professors
  • Specialties: i. Ophthalmology, ii. Pulmonology, iii. Anesthesia, iv. Interventional Radiology, v. Pharmacology.
  • Criteria: As per PM&DC regulations.
  • Note: For Ophthalmology, preference is given to candidates with training in Oculoplastic surgery.
• Sr. No. 4: Demonstrator (03 years Contract, non-extendable)
  • Departments: a) Anatomy, b) Biochemistry, c) Pathology, d) Physiology, e) Forensic Medicine, f) Pharmacology, g) Community Medicine, h) Lecturer/Demonstrator Medical Education.
  • Qualification: MBBS or equivalent recognized by PM&DC.

2. Administrative & Senior Technical Positions

• Sr. No. 5: Senior Finance Officer (G-17)
  • Qual: MBA Finance / M.Com (16 years) or ACCA (qualified).
  • Exp: 3–5 years relevant experience depending on the degree.
• Sr. No. 6: HR Officer (G-16)
  • Qual: BBA/MBA (HR).
  • Exp: At least 3 years post-qualification experience (healthcare preferred).
• Sr. No. 7: Payroll Officer (G-16)
  • Qual: BBA/MBA (Finance/Accounting).
  • Exp: At least 3 years relevant experience. Proficiency in HRMIS/Financial ERP preferred.
• Sr. No. 8: Associate Network Administrator (G-16)
  • Qual: BCS/MCS/BE (Computer Systems/Software). CCNA/CCNP routing and switching preferred.
  • Exp: At least 5 years relevant experience.
• Sr. No. 9: Associate System Administrator (G-16)
  • Qual: BCS/MCS/BE. IT certifications in Oracle, Linux, or Microsoft preferred.
  • Exp: At least 5 years experience in non-hand IT equipment (servers, firewalls, disaster recovery).
• Sr. No. 10–13: Assistant Roles (G-14)
  • Roles: HR Assistant, Finance Assistant, Legal Assistant, Supply Chain Assistant.
  • Qual: Relevant Bachelor’s/Master’s degrees (BBA, MBA, LLB, etc.).
  • Exp: Generally 1 year of relevant experience required.

3. Support & Skilled Staff

• Sr. No. 14: HMIS Assistant (G-12): Bachelor’s in CS + 2 years exp.
• Sr. No. 15: Network Technician (G-12): FA/FSc with Diploma in IT + 2 years exp.
• Sr. No. 16: Hardware Technician (G-12): FA/FSc with Diploma in IT + 2 years exp.
• Sr. No. 17: Accountant (G-11): MBA Finance/M.Com + 3 years exp.
• Sr. No. 18: Telephone Operator (G-11): SSC with Telecom Diploma + 2 years exp.
• Sr. No. 19: RAC Mechanic (G-09): SSC + Vocational certificate in Refrigeration & Air-conditioning + 2 years exp.
• Sr. No. 20: Painter (G-06): SSC + Vocational certificate + 3 years exp.
• Sr. No. 21: Plumber (G-05): SSC + Vocational certificate + 2 years exp.
• Sr. No. 22: Female Bearer (G-04): Preferable Literate.
• Sr. No. 23: Helper (G-04): SSC + Relevant experience (Age limit 22-35).
