⏰ Last Date: Monday, 23 November 2026The Institute of Medical Education, Jinnah Sindh Medical University (IME-JSMU), Karachi has announced admissions in its Certificate in Health Professions Education (CHPE) – Batch 16, Session 2027. The programme is designed to meet the faculty-development needs of health education institutions across Pakistan and is open to doctors, dentists, nurses, physical therapists, pharmacists and allied health professionals. Admission is limited to 25 seats, offered to the first 25 applicants who fulfil the eligibility criteria.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must hold any one of the following qualifications (or equivalent), registered with the respective national regulatory/accrediting body, with a minimum of 16 years of education from an HEC-recognised university:
Admission Process
- The application form and prospectus of CHPE 2027 are available at www.jsmu.edu.pk.
- Every applicant must submit an NOC from their Head of Department / Institution granting permission to attend the programme.
- The final admission decision rests with the IME-JSMU Admission Committee. Once finalised, the list will be announced on the JSMU website and an e-mail sent to successful candidates only.
- Admission will be given to the first 25 applicants who fulfil the eligibility criteria. Rights of admission are reserved with JSMU.
- Processing fee: Rs. 3,000/-.

What is CHPE?
The Certificate in Health Professions Education is a faculty-development programme run by IME-JSMU for health professionals involved in teaching and training.
Who can apply?
Graduates with MBBS/MD or BDS (PMDC registered), 4-year B.Sc. Nursing (PNC registered), DPT, Allied Health Sciences or Pharm-D, with 16 years of HEC-recognised education. One year of teaching experience is preferred.
