The College of Physicians & Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP) has issued a notification (Ref # CPSP/Sec/2026/764, dated 30 October 2026) from the Office of the Secretary, directing all Regional Centre Libraries that only individuals enrolled in the current FCPS Part-I examination are eligible to avail library membership.

Subject: Library Membership Eligibility for FCPS Part-I Candidates
This is to inform all Regional Centre Libraries that, as per the Minutes of the 212th Council Meeting held on 13th July, 2024, only individuals enrolled in the current FCPS Part-I examination are eligible to avail themselves of library membership.
All Regional Centre Libraries are hereby directed to strictly adhere to this decision and ensure its uniform implementation in order to maintain the standards and regulations of CPSP libraries.
Strict disciplinary action will be taken against any Regional Centre Librarians found in violation of the above-mentioned directive.
