Post RN BSN Admissions 2026–2028 at Shaikha Fatima Institute of Nursing & Health Sciences, Lahore
Shaikh Zayed Postgraduate Medical Institute (SZPGMI) invites applications from female and male nurses for its two-year Post RN BSN degree programme.
The Shaikha Fatima Institute of Nursing & Health Sciences (SFINHS), working under Shaikh Zayed Postgraduate Medical Institute, Lahore, has announced admissions to its 02-Year Post RN BSN Degree Program for Session 2026–2028. The programme is open to registered nurses holding a Diploma in General Nursing together with Midwifery or a Post Basic Specialty. Selection is merit-based, combining diploma marks, a written entry test and an interview.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must fulfil all of the following requirements:
- Matric with Science (Physics, Chemistry and Biology as main subjects), or Matric Arts as per HEC requirements.
- Diploma in General Nursing.
- Diploma in Midwifery. Male candidates may hold any Post Basic Specialty diploma in lieu of the Midwifery diploma.
- Experience: one year of clinical experience after completion of Midwifery / Post Basic Specialty.
- PNC Registration: valid Pakistan Nursing Council registration with all entries of professional qualifications.
Entry Test
- A written test based on the standard of General Nursing, Midwifery (or any Post Basic Specialty) and English.
- Candidates scoring 50% marks will be considered to have passed; however, admission will be decided on the overall merit achieved.
Merit Calculation
Final selection will be made on merit calculated from three components:
- General Nursing / Midwifery and any Post Basic Specialty Diploma marks
- Entry test marks
- Interview marks
